Homemade Bomb Explodes in Mali, 7 UN Troops Killed

An improvised explosive device exploded in Mali, Wednesday (8/12). As a result of the incident, 7 UN peacekeepers were killed and 3 others seriously injured.
Quoted from Reuters, the attack occurred on a logistical group of UN troops between the cities of Douentza and Sevare. The area is known to be a place for Al Qaeda and ISIS groups to operate. Politik Indonesia

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres through his spokesman strongly condemned this incident. He asked the Malian authorities to immediately reveal the perpetrators. Dunia Politik dan Ekonomi
“He (Antonio Guterres) asked the Malian authorities to make every effort to identify the perpetrators of this attack so that they can be brought to justice quickly,” said a spokesman for the UN Secretary-General, Stephane Dujarric.
